Anyone have any thoughts on this scenery pack?
Seems to have good reviews in the Marketplace, whatever good that means… Pictures look nice.
I purchased it and it is pretty good. The rocks are well modelled and blend well with the surroundings, I didn’t see any noticeable performance impact and its just fun to fly around them. They cover a very small area around the airport, though, so it’s for you to decide if you will fly around Sedona enough to justify the price of admission.
If you make the purchase make sure to restart Flight Simulator after downloading it or the default terrain will still show up.

Thanks for the quick response… I should have asked… Does it still work with WUX? Did WUX upgrade the area at all so it’s not necessary, or is it still worth it? I assume X-CODR probably had access to a pre-release of WUX?
My brother and his family live in Flagstaff, and I love and visit Sedona often, so, I am very interested in this area. In fact, I just spent a week there in the end of May. Funny enough, I was on Deer Isle in Maine last week for the week with my family, and they included the bridge there (which is pretty interesting to drive across, seems like it’s a single lane) in WUX

That is a good question, and now that I checked after the update, there are couple of issues where the adjusted DEM bleeds through the custom rocks. For the most part it still looks good, but there are some fixes necessary, it seems.

I bought this pack last night (it’s on sale too), what can I say, amazing scenery. Just like I remember Sedona AZ to be. (I was last there 20 years ago).
Have also found a perfect combination - the discus-2 and Sedona add on. What a fantastic combo to fly the area with. Much fun was tonight touring around. I may just stick around here to glide.
The buttes are so much more life like now with this add on. Simply stunning.

have you disabled the MS Sedona Airport included in the WU USA, or can they work side by side…?
Just bought the Sedona through the Market Place, and uninstalled the MS Default Sedona…does it make sense…?
I left the MS one intact and installed it’s a star airport already. I think this add on just does the rock formations in the local area. The airport sits nicely along with it.

What do you mean with a “star Airport”
It’s a WU upgraded/featured airport. They show up with a star in the world map.

This add-on only adds the landmark rocks around the airport, it doesn’t touch the airport at all, so this add-on and the MS Default Sedona airport can indeed exist side by side. No need to remove anything.

It struggled in SU9 and was updated but still a bit taxing, but now brilliant on Beta. I’d fly there from San Diego all the time over Southern Logistics(which was also borked completely on SU9). Now it’s just such a lovely short flight with all the scenery add-ons in between. Couldn’t use any of it with SU9, what a disaster that is(was). With Sedona being ‘official’ you get a decent amount of AI traffic/Live traffic. Usually stop in Sedona and head out to monument valley from there. Great with sunsets.

Looks great, bought during the Black Sunday same both with the airport also.
But seems to crash after a 5 minutes on XboxX v1.29.29 too .29.30 is anyone else getting this?
