Selecting a plane livery or variant causes its thumbnail to blank

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
When choosing either a plane variant, or livery, the thumbnail you choose gets blanked as well as the one that was originally selected. They only come back if you exit that screen to the plane selection screen, and go back to the “Configure” screen.

Did you experience this issue before you joined the Beta?
No

[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue?

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Pick a plane, then go to the Configure screen
  2. Click on either a livery or variant thumbnail
  3. Observe its thumbnail icon get blanked.

• yes

• the other way that works to have the missing thumbnails back is to move the blue scroll bar at the bottom toward the right until they show up again

Seems to be fixed in 1.5.3.0.

Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?
• Not in build v1.5.3.0

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• Tried with the Cessna 172, Airbus A321LR & Zlin Savage Cub. Thumbnails remined visible when changing liveries or scrolling.

• Yes, in 1.5.3.0 as well.

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• It looks like 1.5.3.0 provides a partial fix. They still blank when click on, but they come back. Again, this is different to how I remember SU1, and SU2. Video below. My guess is the effect they are looking for is the one you click on should blink, but the one you just clicked away from should not, and would remain lit. Having them both blink looks odd. The blink is to draw your attention to it, so we don’t really need the old item not being clicked to blink. It’s also possible the blink is not needed at all as there is a tick box at the lower right to indicate what is selected.
