Since MSFS was released in august, there is a massive issue with xbox controller : the rudder control with LT and RT never worked as it should, MSFS is not understanding this is an analogic axis, so even with this axis now introduced into the sensitivity menu, it still take any push on LT or RT as 100%.
Easy to reproduce, just go to the sensitivity menu, and check how one push on LT or RT axis is shown on the curve.
For those like me who had set the LT and RT axis on rudder YAW left/right, this is not the right assignment, you have to set it on Rudder left/right.
You have to rebind LT/RT to Rudder Axis to get the desired results.
Default is indeed mapped to Rudder buttons which are 100% or flutter if you try to add little input.
you are right, my rudder assignment was wrong, I had it assigned on yaw, wich was good at one point, and now wrong, it’s kind of confusing. I’ve modified the post, it’s now about the sensitivity menu wich still get it wrong…
