Was originally suppose to be 24th Sept on Amazon, Now 23rd October … Gutted, ordered beginning of August

I am encouraged by the fact that MS is acknowledging so many issues (and I assume they will continue to). We will see how they look after the patch. (It still doesn’t negate the fact that most of these bugs should have been dealt with before release… but that’s already been said many, many times).

I realize the enthusiasm for all these fixes, but you gotta realize it would be a slap in the face to those who couldn’t install the sim if the first patch addressed none of their installation problems.
And if they held back the first patch until they had all the things due for the second patch, everyone would have ditched the sim and hated on Asobo for not communicating with their customers.
There’s a balancing act here, and I think Asobo’s doing a great job.

You do realize that I have been on the sim for far longer than you have? This are issue that were brought up to them before launch.
My sim just went back to default start up asking me things like if a installed for the first time does that mean i got the patch?
Being in the alpha gives you absolutely no superiority over someone who wasn’t. The gentleman is right. The first patch was correct in its intent. This patch is still coming within a month of public release. Don’t be a snob.

When did I claim any superiority? I told him what I knew was an issue before he even had access to the sim. This issue were present before release, and you know it as well.
I have the same issue using steam in the states. They want to charge me an extra $25 for the premium deluxe upgrade.
I’m not okay with that. Seems shady to me.
Yay! Now that hopefully most of the “I can’t even play” issues have been resolved, time to deal with the salient issues! Bravo!

Oh my gahd…sorry if as a consumer I came to the public forums for the product I purchased to complain. We’ll see if this patch fixes things or is just a bandaid. Until then I reserve the right to gripe when I’m ripped off.

I shall be pleasantly surprised if Asobo fixes all of the listed issues. But I’m not holding my breath. As a minimum, I hope they fix the installation problems.

no. glass is always full in normal conditions.. half beer and half of air.. sometimes its water instead of beer inside…

A forum is also an exchange of ideas and opinions and tips. There are only so many “this sim sucks!” Or “I am going back to x-plane!” Or “why does my airbus not have fully modelled systems and fly like a real airbus when I paid 60 bucks” threads people want to read. Each person has their own viewpoint but the vast majority of people don’t come to forums to read other people vent in my view.
