Black Square did a preview of their upcoming Baron and Bonanza and you can clearly see the issue around North Eleuthera in the Bahamas. Their official preview image -

Yes, they have demolished the SFO Bay Area also. I used to fly approaches over shallow water to SFO and shallow water was nicely represented. Now has dark edges and black blobs. Have written this up as a bug but they put it under “black lines in the water” where it was relegated to a dustbin of eternal bugs. I suspect this observation will eventually suffer the same fate.
Wonder what the Barrier Reef looks like… the Aussis probably have a lot of shots over time.

That isn’t a water mask issue.
Those are either missing textures or a result of a mod conflict.
Launch your MSFS in safe mode and fly here to see if it persists. I have flown there recently and it looked fine to me.
