It just happened to coincide with the TFDI MD-11 release on my end. Literally at almost the same time. Could be a weird coincidence but who knows.

Exactly! as a presale owner, I was extremely hyped to start the sim, but seeing the black screen I thought in was the MD11 Update, until people post about the issue. Hope it will be fixed soon

It’s definitely just a coincidence. The authentication issue is affecting all Xbox accounts and is unrelated to MSFS itself.

I managed to start a flight on Xbox X in the A320NEO earlier but quit the flight, as it was stuttering badly and had poor performance. I restarted my Xbox, and then couldn’t sign back in since. I’m in the UK. I think this outage was what was causing my problems.

Hello @BroughtSinger97,

This has nothing to do with PC/console. “Xbox” is Microsoft’s branding for all their gaming content and services, regardless of platform. In an alternate parallel universe where MSFS was a PC-only product, today’s outage would still have the same impact for PC players as it would still use the same authentication service.

I’m trying to start MSFS (DVD Edition) from Italy but I receive this popup regarding issue with xbox. I have tried several times but the error persists.
