Set different weather at specific locations?

Hello,
I haven’t found an answer to this question on these forums, yet, so I don’t think it’s possible, but just giving it a try here.

Is it somehow possible to set different weather conditions for different locations? E.g. set weather on departure airport on clear skies and weather on arrival airport on clouds and rain?

Thanks!

Michiel

You could use the ingame weather menu and fake it, start out with clear skies 1/2 way to destination bring up the weather menu and start changing condtions in-game.

But if your asking for it in the flight planner Im pretty sure NO. Good Idea though. You should post it on the wishlist for a vote…

Ok, thank you. I will try to do that.

I believe in older MSFS versions it was possible to set specific weather for an airport.

What we really need is a dynamic weather in offline mode. Just set it to a random weather conditions for each around the plane. That means random cloud types and layers, winds, temperature, etc. But all should be within what’s meteorologically possible according to the climate and seasons. That way we don’t need to rely on Live weather data.

You can use a statistic distribution from historical data that can be kept offline. And have the sim do a RNG process to determine which weather type you’ll get for that flight session.
