I don’t know if this is a thing already but when I place a marker on the map from where I want to fly - I can’t set the orientation of the plane, which would be nice.
I hope you’ve already figured this out, but for anyone else with the same question, this might be of use.
Just set another marker, as the destination or just another waypoint in a longer journey, that would require your aircraft to fly on your desired heading. For example, if you want to start off flying due East, just place the next waypoint to the right of your originating position on the map.
