Brief description of the issue:

Setting the maximum ND range in the 747 and 787 with a somewhat lengthy route will result in a slight reduction of performance

Detailed steps to reproduce the issue encountered:

Input this route LIMC/35R VAKON9Q VAKON Q702 CHI M167 BASOG Z122 LABIN DCT SONIK DCT VEBAR DCT ETIDA Q9 RIXEN UA17 BAG UG8 GEM UW73 DYB DCT SRT DCT OTKEP UM688 SIDAD P975 LONOS Y604 GODRI L703 HAYYA HAYYA1R OTHH/34R or anything similar in length into the FMC of either the 787 or 747
Set the ND range to the maximum
Pan around the flight deck and you should notice a reduction in performance, it’s pretty noticeable in the 787 but can be difficult to see in the 747
