Setting to DX12, but when restart, it´s BACK to DX11

Hi guys, i´m trying to enable DX12, but for some reason that I don´t know, when I apply settings, restart the msfs, it back to DX11, i can´t enable DX12.

Some help?
Ryzen 5 3600, 32Gb, RTX 2070 Super, Nvidia driver 497.09

Is your config file (%appdata%…/Microsoft Flight Simulator/UserCfg.opt) read only?

In that case, remove “read only” flag in properties.

How do you exit the sim? I have a bad habit of using Alt-F4 all the time, and I need to remember to exit properly if I want the settings to stick.

In order to have properly set the DX12 I must restart the PC every time…

AFAIK ending a program using ALT F4 is the last resort and will kill the app without saving changes.

Just a note about config.opt. The read only attribute needs be unticked but also so has the hidden attribute. Either will stop the change to DX12
