I’m on Xbox and am trying to set up my v1 yoke. Want to make some customizations on a new yoke profile.
Can you set up a button to go from external view to the default cockpit view? I can’t for the life of me figure it out. If I free view inside the cockpit and look somewhere in another angle then switch to external view, the next time I return to cockpit view I am looking in the other direction still. I can reset cockpit view with another button push but I want to go directly from external view to default cockpit view. Anyone know how to do this? Thanks in advance.
I have toggle cockpit if you set up to a button. But if I switch to external view and then hit my toggle cockpit button it returns me to the view at which I left the internal view in. For example if I was looking out my right window then pressed “external view” and then “toggle cockpit” I return to the cockpit but looking out the right window still. I would like for it to return to my default view looking out the front window. Is that possible to do without then hitting “reset cockpit view button”?
That shouldn’t happen.
Pressing Toggle Cockpit View should return you in the cockpit, facing forward.
In the sim, in Controls Options, click on search by input.
When you press this button on your yoke, what commands are displayed?
If “Toggle Cockpit View” is the only one, the next idea would be an addon conflict.
Addon conflicts can cause strange things such as this (although I haven’t seen this before!).

not sure exactly where that came from but when this last update came out i redid all my settings but this one, couldnt find it, then i realized i just needed to reset the profiles
this still works ‘both ways’ so i guess its a new setting name idk
Cockpit/external view mode is the only thing that I have allocated to the button when searched. And I don’t have any Addons yet as I just got it the other day.
Yeah, so that’s all I have but if I am looking inn another direction or in another pilot view, once I try returning from external view it is not bringing me to the straight on view afterwards. Does this work for you?
no i have 2 setup for this, one to go in out of the aircraft and one to ‘reset to default’ sec ill look that one up
the reset to default works for both inside and out so cool there

“Reset Cockpit View” & “Reset External View” both tied to the Same Button to put my view in default center or w/e its called (looking straight ahead)
i set it up this way because i removed All the snap views - i use a scroll left righty etc for my hat switch, takes a bunch of setup but i cant do the snap views
Ok, that’s basically the setup I have now. But cockpit/external view just puts me in the cockpit where I left off. I know it’s a small problem but it would be nice if that button brought me back in where I wanted to be.
