Settings get reset randomly

I wonder if this happens to anyone else… occasionally, when the Marketplace is offline the entire sim resets itself - the graphics, the resolution, the data, even the aircraft settings. It displays the game servers are not available.

This is so upsetting and takes a lot of time to set the sim up again. Not to mention, every setting in each aircraft has to be redone.

This just happened to me. I had run the sim successfully about eight hours ago. Shut it down properly, but now when I ran it, the first thing I noticed was the jagged edges on the launch screens and i knew something was out of kilter.

This happens perhaps once in six months but is very frustrating when this does happen. Any ideas?

Do you have GForce Experience installed…? did you run it before that happened to you…? GForce Experience has an option to optimize games. Remove that option or the same thing will always happen to you. (May be another cause)

Yes, I have GForce experience installed and yes, I did run it in the previous session to record video.

But I have run GForce Experience every time I record video. It didn’t happen previously with each launch or I might have deduced the trend.

Nonetheless, I’ll turn the auto optimization option off. Thank you for this invaluable input.
