Severe mission payout problem after LV1000 make game no go and 0 fleet income

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:

I ve uploaded the video for this. This is a severe problem that has been confirm by testing.

The problem is only triggering by user level reaching LV1000+ (More than Max level)

When triggering it, The “Mission Payout” will comes out every time when entering career mode and block the fleet daily finalize (see video).

The fleet finalize problem can be inhibited my playing any emploee mission can force close the game. This can trigger a “Mission Incomplete” state, if you confirm, then the fleet income will be back online (but strangely it can only do 3/14 bonus of the company aircraft but not all)

If you continue do any freelancer mission after this emploee mission, the “Mission Payout” will be back like usual when entering the career mode (see video)

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

It will be 100% triggerable after LV1000 (I do first meet this problem since about “LV1004”, that was about 5 more freelancer work after LV1000)

REPRODUCTION STEPS

  2. Do private chatter mission in freelancer mode

1.You can see mission payout trigger every time

2.fleet income comes to an stop, the “fleet income” page normally show when a fresh start in a day, but in video, there is no “fleet income” page show up. this page always show when a fresh day in a fresh start. But since no when this problem goes much more worse.

3.I didn’t catch “Fleet insurance” something in this start and fleet wont fix itself.

4.the problem won’t fix even if restarting it.

Plz help me if you have any clue on this, Thank you. I dont know whether I should reset my career. but saying goodbye to the level and fleets is…….you know……I might finally accept this, but I still want to figure this out if there is a cure.
Cuz I am wondering whether it should fix if I reset career.

Ahhhwwww fkkkkkk I know what trigger it !!!

After 26days !!! I finally solve it !!!

This is my second post for this bug.

Last time I post a thread about it, but noreply no BUG record.

Now I finally get it

As a programmer I wild guess there is 2 relevent data for it.

1.The current condition: will save the game “Completion state” infomation, if a flight start this will record as 1 when complete this will record as 2, then if you claim the reward of this flight, this column will record as “0”

2.The flight result: this is how the msfs refresh the mission condition

3.the mission payout, in CR

This BUG will tirggerd by a normal game crash or maybe just simple network packloss, especially when you just complete the game, and you will see the result at this moment, normally when you press “next” by usual the game will claim the reward and refresh the condition state to 0, means the mission is fully complete and all bonus had been claimed. but unlucky this time, the network is jammed. So when you press “next” to confirm this flight result and just wait for mission payout to show up. And Boom, the “reconnecting to server” shows up.

Then, this bug triggered.

Maybe you just pressed the “QUIT TO DESKTOP” maybe you just continues waiting for reconnect. But when you enter the career mode, due to the “state” mission payout will triggered again and again.

So if there is no way to refresh the “condition state” this bug will sustained and block all the fleet calculation after.

This BUG will triggered RANDOMLY especially when a low network condition.

As I report “game crash” in this forum serval times by some reason guesses. It is more reasonable for me to meet this BUG.

So to MSFS offical developers, if you record the flight state by column on server real time. I strongly recommend you should set up a timer for it. If player meet a game crash and didn’t claim the reward, this column should reset to the initial state or come to a reset when the “fleet income” pages shows. You can set up an time compare function when entering the career and “fleet income” page. I don’t give a shxt if just 1 mission crashed and got no result if I didn’t open this game. But I do care that this bug will only sustained for 1 day at max or not.

A sustained bug hold for 26 days is enough to kill hobbies and passions to the career mode.

So Plz keep my program advice, I finally solve this by luck, what about others?

Back to here again………

After I crash the game intension in employee mode, things seems back to normal, no more “mission payout screen” when entering career mode.

But……After I flew another freelancer mission…….after claim the reward, I exit to the main screen, and re-enter career mode, then the annoy “mission payout” comes again.

So no more wild guess, It is an 100% reproducible bug!

At least 3/14 of my A330 start to gain benefit.

I finally decide to purge my career data I just want to test whether this is an BUG or another

Before this:

1.Mission payout always show after enter “Career” mode if last flight was a freelancer mission

2.this is only happening if you reach LV1000 can keep play until maybe LV1003 or 1005 (I know max is 1000)

3.below lv1000, it wont trigger, and it is only trigger in freelancer mode.

Now after purging the data:

1. I got back to LV0, then after reaching LV53 by doing missions, during these actions, I got the require to create company and do private chatter mission.

2.after complete serval mission, I just do quit to main screen action and reenter career mode, the “Mission Payout BUG” is gone.

3.I close the game then reopen it, enter career, the BUG didn’t trigger again.

Now I am surely confirm this is a BUG!

In order to have this report moved back to the Bug Reporting Hub , could you please update the Description & Reproduction Steps sections with correct information ?. The one that comes does not describe the issue neither the steps are steps to replicate the issue. Or you can create a new report with the correct information. Thank you !

I’m getting this bug as well on freelancer mode. I’m losing $80k to $100k on missions that are supposed to pay $200k. Even when getting S ratings and with an S reputation

OP I assume your title is a typo. I’m getting this as soon as I reached lvl 100 (which I think is the cap), not lvl 1000

I thought it would be an exp out of range problem. that makes incomplete save of the freelancer flight.

Yes every mission I do now. I may have also had a network issue recently as well like you mentioned

I’m level 463 so level 1000 likely is the cap.
