For some reasons, I don’t have any shadows in exterior view whether it’s from the plane itself, or the scenery/buildings.
ISSUE DESCRIPTION
Description of the issue:
Cast shadows are inexistant on exterior view, from the plane on the ground, or the airport buildings.
[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue?
Yes.
FREQUENCY OF ISSUE
Happening on external view, raytraced shadows off.
Shadows appearing back on drone mode.
REPRODUCTION STEPS
Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:
- Load into the sim
- Select daytime
- Load on any runways
YOUR SETTINGS
Raytraced shadow seems to fix this issue, but at the cost of some performance.
Shadow maps, contact shadows and terrain shadows settings have no impact on fixing this bug.
[PC Only] Are you using Developer Mode or have you made any changes to it?
No
[PC Only] Many issues may be due to an outdated graphics card. Please state your Graphics Card Driver Manufacturer (NVIDIA, Intel, AMD) and Version:
Nvidia driver 566.14
