Shady "limitless" app needs access to my Microsoft account

Hi,

Why do I have to give “Limitless[several numbers and letters]” access to my Microsoft account during the first start up of MSFS 2024?

That’s the most shady name of an app I’ve ever seen, and this is from an official Microsoft app/game installed from Steam store.

What is it and why does it need access to my account?

“Limitless” is the intenral name of the FS2024 executable. It needs access to your account to verify you own it legally.
