Hello,
I’ve been struggling to find the root cause of what seems to be a headset tracking issue when playing in VR (steamVR). When playing normally, the camera seems to be well behaved but when the steamVR UI is up or when I use steam to pin a window in the VR world space, the motion tracking seems to be exaggerated as if the camera rotates farther than my head does before pulling back to it’s actual location. This makes everything feel extremely shaky and disorienting. I have the same problem when using OVRdrop- when the window is in place everything shakes.
The problem goes away after closing the UI or removing the pinned window, but I’d like to have a computer screen for youtube or something to watch while on longer flights.
I’m playing wirelessly on a Quest 3 via Virtual Desktop and the steamVR runtime. I thought that reprojection might be causing problems, so I disabled it in MSFS and turned off ASW in Virtual Desktop. No change in shake with pinned windows.
Thanks for any insight you might have!
