Well, i can explain it for you. Save your picture(s) and, if happens a wonder, the sim will be rise to level where he’s allready been, then you will see and understand what your picture of today is worth and what is not. At now it is not posssible to make it better.

Hi! Let me help you, it depends on what you want, if you want the best visual quality, I recommend going for LOD 400 (twice the maximum allowed in the game’s menus).

Go to your user.cfg file, open it with the notepad, and switch LOD 2 to LOD 4, then save and change the file to “read only”.

Thanks for responding Hugo.
We just watched Overkill’s latest vid and he tried increasing LOD but did not think it worth the loss in performance.
Overkill did add the Filmgrain 0 and also the ColourGrading 0 option and the positive difference was evident.
We’ve increased the LOD by as much as 6 wihich came with a heavy impact on FPS but with V Sync on and frames locked at 30 this setting still gave us a smooth Flight.
We reduced the LOD to 4 and FPS was back up in the high 50’s with V Sync and frames locked at 60.
Filmgrain 0 ColourGrading 0.
We’re looking forward to Asobo’s fixing this apparent Light and Colour degradation which they are most likely working on as we write this.
