If it was the beta, wouldnt more people than you be reporting over 2 hour load times? This doesnt make sense.
What I do know is that the 2 hour loading started immediately after the beta update. And went back to 20 mins when I went back to 1.33.8
But why is it taking 20 mins in the first place when it takes everyone else 2 to 5 mins?

What specs you got? Have you got thother things running in the background? Windows and fs can be a pain if you have too many things running all at the same time.

The sim does load in just a couple minutes in safe mode.
All safe mode does is load without addons. So addons are causing it
Try running a system restore point in windows before this started happening…might not be msfs could be a windows thing
Okay, here it gets wild. I again ran the same test, normal mode, this time without any marketplace content installed at all other than World update germany and city update germany.
Loading into the flight now only took 31seconds instead of 7:55minutes, same location.
Loading into the sim from desktop took 1:21min intstead of 16:20minutes.
After uninstalling also WU germany and CU germany, I’m getting the exact same numbers, 31s and 1:21min.
I have about the same amount of community add ons as I have marketplace content, both in numbers of installed add ons as well as disk space.
Now, with my Marketplace addons uninstalled but my hundreds of community addons back installed in the game, I’m still getting very good loading time.
Loading into cached photogrammetry city airport: 38seconds.
Loading into the sim from desktop: 2:11 min
So yeah, it’s definitely ONLY MARKETPLACE CONTENT THATS CAUSING ISSUES, WITH LOADING TIME.COMMUNITY CONTENT IS FINE and doesn’t affect performance as much at all. And, as I stated before, this exact issue existed with the sim pre-su13-beta already, just not as pronounced as now. I’ll measure that later this weekend hopefully. For now, I recommend uninstalling (moving into a different folder, so you don’t need to re-download all the content) all your marketplace add ons.
Edit: Further testing from my side suggests Marketplace content is generally fine. Just very few packages cause a lot of trouble. See new posts below.

Same, much much longer load times… removed community folder, no change. Safe mode enabled and quick loads.

was having around 3min but now up to 7mins!
same issue here, removing community folder content does nothing to resolve a 3-5x longer loading time now and CTD. Its definitely marketplace related content issue as going into safemode resolves the issue. Getting about 15m load times up from 5mins or so, and CTD on almost all airports when clicking the fly now button.

For me, loading times are at least the same if not even better with the beta (!). But I have to admit that they were always bad. I don’t have a lot of marketplace stuff.
Maybe it is something (or multiple) specific?

The question is if it is one specific marketplace package, or the marketplace in general. From you test it seems it might be a specific marketplace package,as with only Germany WU installed, loading times were good. Correct?
I agree. I wasnt getting this problem but then I think Ive only bought 3 or 4 things on the marketplace
Im guessing it is more to do with the bought addons from the marketplace. I havent bought many things from there so I dont really have the problem
I have a lot of marketplace addons, but I’d say 95% are sceneries. Will try removing those and seeing if it makes a difference.
