Hi @KlausMann7677,
My apologies - I should have mentioned how to do that.

  • Start MSFS 2020, then go to Windows task manager (right-click the Windows Start button & click on Task Manager).
    Task Manager

  • Choose Processes and right-click on Microsoft Flight Simulator.exe and choose “End task”.
    End Task

  • When you restart MSFS 2020, you’ll get the safe mode prompt. Safe mode disables both your community folder and any marketplace addons located in other folders.

However, just as an inbetween: With Community and .work folders renamed/deleted it would become stuttery after 4 Load ins, so a definite improvement with only the Marketplace Mods active.

Now, in Safe Mode, is has CTDd for the first Time in Months, taking the Audio Drivers with it. Balrog v Gandalf Style

When does it CTD - At startup, while in menus, during flight?..
I’m afraid I do not understand your comment about Audio Drivers :worried:

Same issue for a long time. Stuttering when beginning a second flight with another plane.

No, but I get no Audio from anywhere until Game Restart.
This was also on an older Notebook and on Win 10.
Win 11 and new Bluetooth Drivers solved all Issues there.
Also, starting Discord with the Sim Running and on Bluetooth Speakers will stop all MSFS game sound as Discord usually srews around with the Audio Devices and MSFS is quite temperamental concerning anything Audio Device related.

Does it also happen whenever you updated/installed something from Marketplace?
I think whenever MSFS has to actually write instead of just read stuff, it just dies.

I usually restart the game after an update of a marketplace product because, yes, it seems to worsen stutters. But I notice 2nd flight stutters even if I have not done any marketplace update.

It’s a memory leak that it’s had forever. It never fully purges the last flight. You can do ‘reset flight’ usually with no issues, but the more you change the worse it gets. Move 3000 miles away and switch aircraft

Hey guys!
Just before the realese of MSFS 2024, and after such a long time of looking for the possible culript, I finally found the reson for my stuttery mess after changing the aircraft. The culript in my case has been FSUIPC. After deleting it, the sim works flawlessly again
