I went from dx12 (Beta) to dx11 because of the new A380. Since then, I get a very weird crash report. I havent overclocked my GPU or did anything else. Is there a way to change the directX version outside of the game ond how do I fix this?
Hi @Flixtendo ,
Thank you for this report. We’ve moved your topic into the User Support Hub.
The Bug Reporting Hub is for posting suspected or confirmed bugs that other users are able to reproduce without duplicating an existing bug report. Using the template or providing all the relevant information about your bug and sim setup is required in order to provide valuable information, feedback, and replication steps to our test team.
If you are not sure if your issue is a bug or need further input from the community, please use the User Support Hub category. If the community can replicate your issue, first search the Bug category to see if there’s an existing topic. If it already exists, contribute to that report. Duplicate bug reports will be closed.
If you believe it is a new report and no duplicate exists, then create a new bug topic using the provided topic template.
All issues caused by or involving third-party addons/mods should be reported to the third-party developer. Assure that no addons/mods are used when reporting issues in Bug Reports.

There is also this support article:

Sadly both articles are not my problem. My problem is that I have to back up ti dx12 but I dont get into the game
To enable DX12 without launching MSFS, you need to edit the usercfg.opt
file. Find the line that says PreferD3D12 0
and change 0 to 1.
After making this change, save the file.
The DXGI_ERROR can be caused by software like MSI Afterburner, Nvidia GeForce Experience and Nvidia filters. If you have an Nvidia graphics card, download the latest driver. Uninstall the old driver in safe mode using the free program DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller). After restarting your system, install the new driver.
Did you try starting the sim in Safe Mode?
That will eliminate loading of your addons, which may be the reason you can’t get into the sim.
I dont come to the selection
That with the useroptfile made the deal! But why cant I use dx11?
