After this update, I can’t get any further than this picture at startup!
I’ve never had problems with any installation since release.
It’s just sad!

Did you clear out your community folder before starting?

Because the outdated mods can cause issues. 99% chance that that is the cause of your problems.

Always remove your mods on first start after an update and confirm everything works. Then you can put them back in and restart again.

Because it’s standard advice when updating the sim otherwise issues can arise during the update process.
You should remove said mods before starting the update to make sure nothing breaks. Most of the time, mods are the cause of issues. Mod devs need time to make their mods compatible with the new version of the game. It doesn’t always break stuff, and most mods will likely work fine. But all it takes is 1 that misbehaves to break your entire game.
