Anyone tried it yet?
I considered getting it but then read a review on Simmarket. Seems not much works in the cockpit. So it’s a pass from me for now. Maybe it’ll get updates.
Remember, these guys are the ones who put out that janky Embraer Phenom… so not much hope for that.
The Phenom was terrible, and they have never released any updates to fix any of the issues. Surprised they are still around. I’d stay far away from this one.
thanks for the feedback. wasn’t too enthusiastic about it any way. Prefer the old stuff.
Just a heads-up: the Simfederation Cessna Corvalis TTx will cause a conflict with the Longitude which makes the Heading knob inoperable. There’s not even a clickspot for the Heading knob.
When you remove the Simfederation TTx from the Community folder, the Longitude works as normal.
After buying the Phenom 300, Sim Federation made it on my “Do Not Buy From” list.
Personal Comments and Observations
Garmin G3X - no thanks.
I believe the early run Corvallis’ had an Avidyne PFD tied to a GNS430. Later runs used the G1000.
They straight ghosted us on Phenom 300 updates…NEVER AGAIN!
Sim Federation released an update on 25/10/23 which fixes the Longitude Heading knob conflict and makes the doors openable - however the door animation is only visible from inside the plane, the doors remain closed when viewed from outside the plane.
Hopefully Sim Federation can bring this plane in the game Marketplace for Xbox!
Should have read these comments before buying. What a sucker I am. Thinking this would be like the TTX in MSFS2024, I bought it for MSFS2020. Took it for a flight: many buttons don’t work. Could not get the A/P to work at all. Found the on/off switch in the upper panel only to find it does not respond to mouse click. Another $21.00 to learn a hard lesson. POS for sure.
I bought this aircraft too, based on the 270 cruise speed it advertised. I took it for a flight and at sea level could only attain 180 knots.
So I then took it up to 25,000 feet and with max power and max prop in a tailwind could only reach 137 knots indicated and 197 GS with TAS of 207. Nowhere near the 270 mph “cruise” advertised.
It has other problems too, and since we can only “rate” things and not offer feedback to the developer in the Marketplace it got a 1 star from me.
This is why the marketplace is terrible, that and file encryption so I cannot fix the issue but have to rely on the developer to do that, and that may never hapen so I am stuck with an aircraft I will not fly.
