Same issue here even with the latest patch. Happens only with inibuilds planes (a320v2, a330, a400m, beluga) and happens every single flight when I actually fly the plane and not just taxi around the airport. Requires at least 30 min of plane in the air.
Other planes seem to work better, have not been able to test all of them.
Ik you replied 6 days ago but if you still have the same problem, Just spawn the plane on a ramp or a gate, but donāt click on autostart engines, do the startup yourself and you will be able to fly
Iāve done a flight with Fenix, and quit to menu successfully without any freeze.
Rolling cache is enabled with 300GB.
737, 747 etc. are not tested, but I think itās fine.
Just confirmed seems to only occur with ini aircraft. Did a 45minute flight with the cessna 172 and was able to end flight back to the main menu.
Odd thing as for the inibuilds plane if i were to end flight under 5minutes it always was able to. But the moment i let it loiter past that it always guarantees an unresponsive sim freeze.
Same problem, only with inibuilds planes. Having MSFS2020 scenarios activated is not a problem with other planes (at least in my case). In addition, inibuilds planes (which I like and use a lot btw) are the only ones giving problems with frame generation: while I get around 100/120 fps with any other aircraft, inibuilds airbuses only give me a terrible 20/30 FPS, except the A400 which runs reasonably.
Happens to me at least 60% of the time and itās really frustrating - not just because it means reloading but as someone else said, it means any changes or stats from the session are not saved.
It happens 100% of the time with ini planes (a330 and a400) but it also happens with others less frequently - had it today with the Saab 340.
I also find that once CTDs start happening - (had 2 sequentially today just sat in the cockpit setting up) the only safe thing is a full PC reboot.
When the sim works itās great but for me I feel like Iām getting 20% of the time I should be having with it - the rest of my time is soaked up by restarts and redoing custom views which seem to arbitrarily disappear after crashes or updates.
This started happening when I started to learn to fly Inibuilds Airbus A320 Neo v2 mainly. Game freezes when returning to main menu. Have to close it from task manager.
Happened twice to me today - (out of two flights that completed) - once in A330P2F and once in the ATR.
The first attempted flight in the ATR had a CTD during climb - I was spinning around the plane in external view so that is most likely view change related. I have flagged that in a ticket but as no feedback is given I have no idea if itās noted or tracked.
Do you have the same issue if you follow the OPās steps to reproduce it?
ā¢. Yes, the problem persists even after I empty the community folder, reinstall the game, or restart my PC.
Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
⢠No matter the flight, the aircraft, or the duration of the flight, whenever I try to exit using the āEnd Flightā button or the āmain menuā, the game freezes. The music continues playing, but I am forced to close the game using Task Manager.
If relevant, provide additional screenshots/video:
⢠System specs;
CPU Ryzen 7 5800X
RAM 32GB
Storage 1TB NVME
Graphics Radeon RX 6600
After reading prior posts I moved the cache to my sim drive (fast NVME) and increased it to 100Gb. Same result - A400M 2 hr flight - end flight and freezeā¦
ini say itās a core sim issue (although they donāt know root cause). I appreciate things like this are hard to track down but the silence is deafening. It clearly doesnāt affect everyone but for those it does it is a real annoyance.
If MS devs want to use my system as a guaranteed repro then Iām happy to give access - just do SOMETHING even if itās only an acknowledgment of the issue.
Suffered three CTDs so far - two on loading H225 and one just after takeoff.
A common feature of my CTDs is that many of them occur at the same (or thereabouts) offset - FaultingOffset 0000000002acb38a
It would help to try and change stuff if there was any clue what area of code this relates to. I tried dropping my res from 4k to 2k and aside from looking worse it still falls over.
Iām not going to buy any 3rd party planes until the sim is stable for me - this is simply not a pleasurable experience at all.
As itās been 3 on the trot I will now reboot the whole PC so yet more time wasted instead of flying
Hi Guys Jagroad 1954 here.
My issue is cannot return to main menu after session, The esc command is not working was ok before,
I checked in controls type SK and u get the skip session and shows esc key as return button and space bar as backup not working i changed these to other keyboard commands and still dont work , So to play a mission u have to exit the whole game and come back in, All is ok if you have the back to command down left bottom corner within regulated missions and aircraft choice, its only at the end of the flight there is no back key. If anyone knows a command via the keyboatd please let me know,I will keep trying, Was working okay when first loaded in . I think there was an update and it changed this command. I tried reloading the sim . Still the same. HELP PLEASE ???
Thats good, and me too, But it was my first time actually getting into the sim and I wanted to fly instantly, it seems like that You canāt spawn on the runway with takeoff config, but after some time I did spawned at a gate and the plane actually worked, but still, it is always laggy on the ground
For me this is not just Inibuilds aircraft but every aircraft it seems. Exactly what the screenshots above show, I try to go back to the main menu and the sim freezes and I have to force close it.
