Had the same issue for two years and read all I could to solve it. What really seems to help is to change the aircraft (or even only the livery) every time you start a new session of Flight Simulator. So never use the same aircraft (or livery) in a row. I have never had the issue again.

Interesting…
I switched from the DHC-2 Beaver to the C-172 and tried the same flight.
The flight loaded normally. :upside_down_face:

I was able to switch back to the DHC-2Beaver and the same flight loaded fine.
I marked your reply as Solution.

Thank you.

Also having this issue. Don’t mark this solved, you should be able to use the last plane you flew with without having to resort to work arounds to get around an obvious bug.

I did mark it as solved, because it has solved my issue.

Didn’t solve it, its a workaround and Asobo should investigate this.

Yes

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:

After I acquired and downloaded KENAI airport from Marketplace I first tried starting from another airport using the free drone camera. Then I returned to the home/main menu and loaded a new flight to start from KENAI. When it started to load the flight MSFS froze after about 30% loading, mouse pointer vanished and task manager showed MSFS not more responding so I had to kill it by task manager.
I started MSFS new in normal mode and tried several times to start a new flight with an other aircraft from another airport but now it freezes again during loading into the flight at about 25-30%.

i have had the same issue. It starts with “unable to sync” and then hangs for hours.

I have tested my broadband speeds and close to 900 MB.

I have renamed my community folder to no avail.

Could there be an issue with MSFS servers inside AZURE?? i usually connect to AZURE EAST since i live on east coast

I usually see close to 1600 users on VATSIM and sure many many more not using VAT
