My online is back up and running. In the midwest US
not really an option for the console customer base, which is now larger than the pc. but thats for another thread
Warning: This xbox live account is already used with another steam account?? And it crashed.
It works (Netherlands).
What!? You could really go where you wanted? What about directions, airways, vectors? ![]()
(they certainly doing something wrong in this ‘outside’ world.)
Okay, it’s working again, no questions needed anymore from my 'safe space"…
Everything’s back to normal here in Germany. Marketplace is not greyed out anymore.
Same difference: if it’s out, it’s out, if it works, it works. MSFS2020 is already unusable when the servers don’t work, so why would MSFS2024 be any different?
Services are back in the Azores…!
Update: online connection ok but from the LIPZ gate in Venice the flight plan in the MCDU is going crazy…T/C and T/D keep disappearing and reappearing by themselves…let’s see how the takeoff and the flight goes. ..
I’m back online, western european servers. Fingers crossed it stays that way…
Solved by changing approach from ILS30Y to ILS30Z … now the flight plan in the MCDU is correct … but strangely I don’t see contrails in the sky although there is traffic in the radar …
Hmzzz…today, pretty early in the morning, I mentioned several hick ups while on the ramp @ EHTE.
Track-Ir5 was extremely sloppy, I saw strange artifacts along the runway and the rudders did not respond at all.
Now that I’m re-thinking… the rudder issue started yesterday evening and I don’t think that there’s a relation with server connectivities.
Long story short: Just fired up the sim again without any strange behaviour.
Hong Kong was very laggy last night in the Longitude and I was offline.
I flew into Liverpool a while ago online, runway 22 in a King Air and it took a completely different approach than what was listed on the VFR map and my PFD.
I remember the King Air having these issue before so it may not be related to the server issues.
Not working for me. After executing a start-up of the sim, I jump right in to the Main Menu. No check for updates, no thumbnail images of the latest World Updates etc just a basic background image. It takes less than 30 seconds to get to the main menu. I have always wanted a fast start however, I would rather have a slower start and connection to the server!
18:20 local time here in UK.
I think the little man who stokes the ‘data boiler’ has gone home sick… ![]()
Update: My on-line functionality had turned itself off! Still no Market Place available. I apologise to the little man who stokes the data boiler!
Charles.
No thumbnail images, goes straight to the Main Menu…
New update: Still broken after turning the data service back on. Oh dear, perhaps the little man has really gone off sick! The data connection settings keep turning off without my help. When I turn them back on again, it takes forever for the photo scenery to load. The time now is 18:30 local in the UK.
Severs status and online functionality still greyed out under my user name. However Data options no longer greyed out and marketplace is working. I’ve just downloaded some aircraft updates. Mon 8:00 AM in eastern Australia.
Edit: Tried again just now at 8:51 and server status was still greyed out. Online functionality was already selected on in Data options, so tried turning live weather, real time traffic and multiplayer to on and that did the trick, as server status etc was now enabled under my user name.
I checked last night before bed, I was up and running but did not load into a flight to see if the scenery loading was still slow. My simulator is no longer looking, (visibly) for an up date at start-up. Has anyone else noticed this? Perhaps the program is looking for updates behind the scenes on initial start-up?
Charles
