Sim only recognizing one peripheral at a time

I’m leaving SU3 Beta now. Although I can still fly by using just Side Stick and Key F to retard engines, I have no brakes or rudder

Same here. When switching to VR I do hear the USB disconnect and reconnect sound often but most periphals keep working. I think because those devices are controlled through Spad.next. The device I loose is the Moza FFB base.

This is a game breaking bug that needs to be fixed in the next couple days. I cannot play SU3 until it is.

Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?
• Yes. I have a USB hub and if I forget to power on before to launch the devices are not recognized, before the hotplug listed all the devices

• I have the same issue , everthing was working the only thing i did was join the beta

Also experiencing the issue with SU3
As long as every peripheral is connected before start they can all work at once. But if one is plugged in later, drops connection for a moment or anything else, only one peripheral will work at a time.

Can anyone else confirm this? Could be an important finding if replicable?

Mine are all connected before start and I don’t have any issue.

This is already known. The problem is about connecting peripherals while playing, not with them in general

Mine are all connected at start but I lose all but the mouse and keyboard after a few minutes and after that I can only plug one controller in at a time.

That had also been exactly my experience. However, that concerned the joystick and the rudder for me.

Same issue as op.
Hardware will somehow get disconnected at some point during flying.
Any attempt to reconnect will only connect the last one you plugged in and disable everything else.

Equipment
Thrustmaster TCA Boeing Yoke
Thrustmaster 1600M Joystick
Thrustmaster TFRP Rudder pedals.

A different issue here. Randomly the joysticks disappear and when I leave and return they are all there again.

I do not know if it helps but hve you fellowsimmers checked in windows configuration powerplan that usb energy plan is not active in the way it permits the usb device to disconnect to save power.
Also when connect or reconnect usb periphals do them one at the time and give it a rename (if you want use 2 or 3 of the same example saitek throttles) then exit the sim and start it up again
to ready the second device and rename then exit,
You can see if this works if devices with rename are still in the list.

Make sure when devices are there to clear the profiles and set them up when all the devices are connected and recognized

In this way i was able to setup 2 throttles from saitek

Same for me, happens no matter what plane and it happens after about half an hour. Game only recognizes 1 hardware device, so i am limited to only stick, throttle or tiller.

This happened to me yesterday in the default A321. Hopefully they can iron it out with a patch soon :crossed_fingers:

Same here with Saitek yoke and rudder pedals. Worked fine during the first few minutes with SU3B, then disappeared. They however still exist under peripherals in Win11, just Msfs2024 doesn’t recognize them anymore.

It’s most definitely a beta issue, Windows 11 sees the devices. Disappointed this hasn’t been logged as a bug by Asobo yet, it making the game in beta unplayable

• Yes I have 5 peripherals connected but there seems to be a maximum possible. It recognises 4 of them, but if I reconnect number 5 it shows up but one of the others are dissapeared

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• I connected saitek X56, Honeycomb and Yoke and rudders.
As an example: everything works and is visible except the rudders. If I reconnect the rudder, it shows and works, but the honeycomb throttle is dissapeared from the menu and don’t work anymore. The peripheral I connected the last is dissapearing
