Sim refuses to load photogrametry

Brief description of the issue:

Since 40 anniversary update till today, (December 3rd 2022) sim takes about double the load time, and about 4 times the normal time to go from ‘fly’ to actually in the cockpit.

Usually (always I think, it has been days and days since I ever remember it NOT doing this behaviour)
it will stall during the loading to cockpit phase and complain about low bandwidth, and no photogrametry. When I check speedtest.net during these events, the computer reliably reports 40ms ping, about 300 Mbps download, and 58Mbps upload. Should be plenty of juice for photogrametry ya?

Sure enough, the world is a low resolution bowl of potatoes. Ruins the sim completely.

It used to work, nothing has changed except the latest windows update circa two weeks ago, and of course sim update 40th edition and I think one maintenance patch a few days back.

Sim is currently unusable.

Go to Settings > General > Data and make sure things like bing and photogrammetry are set to on. Then turn off Online Functionality, then save, then back on, then save, then restart the sim.

every now and then, this happens, but my guess would be. “server load” ?

Well, that fix no longer works. Problem has fully asserted itself again. Weather will not load in the world map (atlas). Zooming in yields terribly pixelated, non refreshed ‘green blur’ imagery. I now always (98% of time or better for the past week), get the ‘bandwidth is too low for photogrametry’ popup, and the sim takes an inordinately long time to go from world map page to cockpit - about three to five times longer than actually launching the game
and it is a low res, bowl of potatoes world you are finally taken to.

The sim is basically broken at this point. It WILL NOT FUNCTION.

I am going to post this thread AGAIN to the forums, and hope that there is a bug fix on the way. Been since November off and on
for the past week
hard OFF.
