Hello Folks;
For some unknown reason I am now getting stuck on the loading screen as of 10/17 in the evening. This has never happened to me before this is the 1st time. Nothing changed, I have been flying daily with no issues at all and my last flight was on the 16th. the day before the issue. I haven’t added any addons or addon updates in months. The community Folder hasn’t been touched in a few months.
The progress bar seems to go all the way to the end and then just hangs. I have lots of memory; disk space, etc…etc,
I tried running updates from MS Store just to make sure everything was up to date, logged out and logged in again, but nothing, Windows is up to date.
I figured it may be something with the MS servers, so I tried it every day and multiple times per day including today 21st and same issue so I decided to reach out for help. Attached is a picture of screen that’s stuck on.

I know the community folder hasn’t changed but try emptying the folder entirely and start again. I know you haven’t changed anything but something on the computer or in the cloud has changed. Just got to find it. You also might try changing servers.

The other thing you can try (assuming you’re not using Steam) is closing the sim and logging out of MS Store and Xbox app. Then restart your PC, and log back into MS Store, then Xbox app, then launch MSFS from there.

Thanks for your response Folks I really appreciate it. So, one big key factor I forgot to mention. is my Internet Service Provide did upgrade my router to their new and better one (mine was over 15 yes old) and upgrade my network from 75/75 to 300/300 much better and faster and my speed is 2,5 Gbps. Just plug and play and everything worked (all my apps) except for MSFS 2000.
So last night I decided to try using my Wi-FI instead of my Ethernet Lan which I always use and “WALA” it worked. My LAN is better than my Wi-Fi which are all fast so I know it’s not a bandwidth issue. I also have unlimited data so that’s not a concern.
Maybe it’s not recognizing the new Router & IP??? (which shouldn’t matter but you never know with MSFS) so something isn’t jiving with the Server. BTW; I also tried what [LongHaulSky] suggested with all different flavors (I don’t use Steam) and those didn’t work.
Maybe someone had the same and or similar issue and have some suggestion. I am thinking that maybe a setting is needed in my network config?.
As usual, I appreciate any suggestions and or help.
