Sim will not load past initial screen after SU8

#PC

Are you on Xbox, Steam, or Microsoft Store version?
Microsoft Store

Are you using Developer Mode or made changes in it?
No

Brief description of the issue:
After the latest development update the game booted in just fine, I could load into flights, and I could use third-party content.

I recently shut down my PC completely and when I came back up I tried to load MSFS, but I could not get past the initial loading screen. The blue loading bar finishes but the game won’t actually boot in.

I removed everything out of my community folder, I made sure all my drivers and software were updated, and I removed any additional third-party content. However, I still can’t load past the initial screen.

I also noticed when the blue loading bar finishes, my CPU goes up to 100%

PC specs and/or peripheral set up if relevant:

11th Gen Intel(R) Core™ i5-11400 @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHz
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (ver 511.79)
16 GB RAM

You’ve stated at the top you are using Xbox, but it doesn’t seem so.

Do you have a custom page file, or are you running Window’s managed?
With 16GB ram, you should have a custom size page file.

This topic is scattered throughout this forum. I have commented on it several times.
This bug was in the beta also.
We should demand the ability to roll back to SU7.
SU8 is flawed.

No flaw in my setup.
All works very well.
Quite a few others mention this as well.
Yes, there are simmers who are having problems, but not all do.
I would be looking in your system, and at the numerous “tries” here to see if they may help.

Just allow me to go back to SU7
That is all I ask.

This seemed to do the trick. Thank you for your help!

which topic you mean  ?

That windows can not increase the pagefile because of the rules behind "System Managment " ( e.g. low free disc space ) or sometime users set manually a very low pagefile ? This is more or less known and not directly related to MSFS, just a users system issue.

In meanwhile we link very often to these topic for users with less than 32GIG RAM:
