Brief description of the issue:
So while playing there was a powercut and the computer unexpectedly powered off. Usually this doesn’t break the sim, but on reboot the sim would get past the blackshark.ai screen and get stuck at the loading screen, even before the blue bar comes along. I tried running as admin, clearing appdata/roaming, even deleting the whole sim, packages, launcher and all, restarting the computer, and still the issue persists. I can’t even get to the download packages screen. It hasn’t crashed, mouse pointer moves and music continues to play. Wierd…

Oh darn… looks like I deleted my whole darn packages folder for no reason… Welp, time for a 100 gb download lol But Its defenitely worth it! [still stuck though]
I have the same problem, gets stuck on the load screen. I too am using steam. It happened after the game crashed.

Microsoft is down…disappointingly they have not "owned up ", to their situation here in the forum and tell everybody…it’s been a hour and a half and they remain silent. Low Budget !

Same Here. Worked for one Flight after update stuck on this screen. I’m using steam. Must be a server issue.

yep must be a server issue. Wish they would make this sim playable offline already!!! Its either crashing or server issues.

On steam, same issues; the servers must have tanked out.

Hi. So glad I just found this thread as the same thing has just happened to me. I got home from work today to my new thrustmaster control and I thought they may have been the cause or the Win10 update I did prior to starting the sim. I have to go out now so hopefuilly when I get home later toniught the server will be back online.

having the same problem. In the beginning the game worked fine but since the last 2 updates FS hangs and therefor cannot come to the opening screen. It does update but prevents starting fully. I had a fresh install without adding anything.
There must be a crash log I should sat but where to find it?
I’m having the same issue. New machine, 3 fresh windows installs and 5 attempts at msfs clean installs. Just crashed at the blue bar when loading up after installing.
I’ve tried everything from vc runtime installs sys check user accounts drivers the list goes on.
No answer from zendesk either.
My log book got wiped out with that bug on my old rig last week and now this on a new i9 build.
