Simbrief AIRAC 2303

I’m a poor simmer such that I use free version of simbrief.
I see they are using the 2303 AIRAC which is using the old denomination for the 18/36 Runway for LIML (my home homie airport).
Just in 2023 it has been changed into 17/35 due to magnetic variation. It’s a pretty messy situation as 17/35 is also the name of another old runway that is still active into every flight simulator but actually dismissed and transformed in a GA parking in reality.
I wonder if you know the frequency usually the free AIRAC got updated in navigraph/simbrief.
Thankyou in advance for attention.

If you have a Navigraph subscription every 28 days, if you do not have one you are stuck with the one you have.

I think it’s done every year or so but it won’t be the latest AIRAC. Something worth noting is that you can get AIRAC data only from Navigraph which does include access to up-to-date AIRAC data for SimBrief for something like $40 a year.

Or you can take out a monthly Navigraph subscription, update everything then cancel it. You’ll still have the updated info and in all honesty it doesn’t change much month to month.

In some cases it does. In the US you can find what’s coming up on the FAA IFP gateway.

Personal Comments and Observations

Or you buy the annual Navigraph Data Only plan. Cheapest solution to keep good data, you can use it with any other EFB (like Little Nav Map) and Simbrief is now accurate. I lived this way for the first two years of the sim.

This topic is covered over on Navigraphs forums,

The free AIRAC is updated every year around March (with the year before) so it is always 12 - 24 months old.
