Simbrief - AIRAC Cycle Indicates “2003”?

Is this what you would expect it to indicate. “2003-OUTDATED”?
Another blue button says “Unlock AIRAC 2202”, they mean 2022, not 2202 right? To unlock this they want me to subscribe to Navigraph which I’m not doing.
So where do I stand? I normally just use LMN anyway for my level of knowledge and experience. Speaking of LMN, what should my option be set for they way I use it, Scenery Library/Navigraph- AIRAC cycle 1801/Use Navaids…All Features, Navigraph…Navaids-Procedures or Do not use Navigraph data graph?

Again I only create my flight plans in LNM, Import it into MSFS2020 World Map and then only use the AP in FBW A320, not the on board computer.

I would guess LNM and MSFS2020 should use the same info database.

Thanks for your help!

The AIRAC date format is YYMM.

2003 AIRAC I believe is the free one but it is outdated. You need a Navigraph subscription or one time purchase to get 2202.

44. Navigation Databases — Little Navmap User Manual

The problem that will arrive is that the sim will have fairly current nav data, and by using old nav data in your plans, you will run into issues with missing and changed waypoints, procedures, and changed airport data, resulting in issues with flight plans and auto pilot navigation while flying in the sim.

Thanks for your help!
Ok I bought the subscription and have the latest data.

I just need help with the big picture. I only want to creat my flight plans in LNM, import the plan into MSFS World Map and fly away (from the runway) with the FBW A320 following the plan. I’ve been flying this way for a long time.

How do I get LNM and MSFS2020 using the lastest AIRAC version I just bought? How does it now all sync up?

Thanks again for any help you can give me!

You need to install Navigraph Navdata using the NavData NavCenter utility - that will override the sim’s Navdata with Navigraph..

You need to update LNM using the FMS NavData utility to match up to current Navigraph AIRAC Cycle.

Once those two are in sync, what you see in LNM is what you get in the FMS in the sim. Note that the depiction of the plan in the Flight Plan World Page in the sim will still look incorrect at times. This won’t get addressed until Working Title fixes the Flight Planning Engine Code of the sim itself. But - the LNM plan export will be respected by the FMS in the aircraft.

Also I highly recommend you try Simbrief (owned by Navigraph), it is a freeware planner that creates flightplans and load management that can be imported directly to the FBW A320 and does not use the MSFS world planner.
It is quite good and the import process is actually somewhat realistic to real operations.
