Simbrief releasing new toolbar

I didn’t get the downloader and the dispatch worked fine.

For MSFS it would now appear that the downloader is only useful for aircraft that can’t download their flight plan directly if you use this to fill in the flight plan on the home page. You may still need it for X-Plane and other sims though.

I just tried the CRJ after a long time yesterday, forgot it doesnt support simbrief import via efb … so yes for some aircraft you still need simbrief downloader (or download via browser) to download the flightplan and put it in the according folders…

Havent tried any of this yet, but would imagine that the downloader is required if you use the TDS GTN750xi. The downloader would put the flightplan into its appropriate place to enable a pick up from the GPS.

Again, I havent tried the new toolbar at all yet, so the above is simply an expectation on my part.

I just tried a mid-flight plan in the DA42 NG, and it automatically imported without issue. The only oddity I noticed was that it also refilled my fuel tanks. Not sure if it’s supposed to be like that, a bug, or a setting in the plan creation. The ironic thing was I created the plan specifically to land at a nearby airport to refuel, and I didn’t notice the mid-air refueling until I stopped at the pump and noticed my tanks were already topped off.

I think there’s a setting in there to export the fuel and payload to the planner.

Thanks. This was a one off plan just to see if it worked, so I didn’t go through all the options.

I agree. The Brief Panel and Simrate Selector for fs2024 is the best free mods
