The images below will show that the first leg of this flight has contradicting distances between Sky Vector and Simbrief. This is every flight, and I have noticed it is always the first and last leg of each flightplan I generate.
Simbrief: 26 nautical miles
Sky Vector: 8 nautical miles (7.7 if you open the Navlog)
I believe Sky Vector is more accurate after using Google Maps measuring tool.
Has anyone else seen this?

I have never paid attention to this, but it’s interesting. I’d be curious to know the reason Simbrief is off. For what it’s worth, Foreflight also shows KFOK → BEADS as 8 nm.
EDIT: Navigraph Charts is also 8 nm, which is interesting since that’s the data Simbrief should be using.

It’s because SimBrief is accounting for the extra distance needed to take off and turn on course. For example, when departing in the opposite direction of your first waypoint.
If you re-generate the flight using a runway that is lined up with the first waypoint (in this case runway 15) you should notice the distance is closer to what SkyVector and others show.
This would make sense… I should have thought of this. I will check it out next time I am in the Sim. Thank you!
