ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: When trying to import my Flight Plan from Simbrief I get a WASM Crash - PC and Xbox X, I disable the MSFS flight plan, enter my Simbrief ID, request flight plan then all screens show this message.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)? Every time on sim load

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Fresh install of MSFS 2024

  2. Clear out Community folder

  3. Stream and downloaded ATR for 2024

  4. Same problem happens now on 2020 version of ATR

  5. Happens on my Xbox X version as well.

  6. Other members have reported same problem

[PC Only] What other relevant PC specs can you share? CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D 16-Core, 64GB Ram

Hello. Same bug here…

Its Odd that it happens on my Xbox X too. I have seen Youtubers been able to import without this error. I have tried everything possible on my end but still no luck.

Since this problem is not a general one but specific to a certain flightplan, can you please provide the complete route you tried to import? Thank you.

Did you have an alternate in your SimBrief OFP? If not, try adding one… I get a crash consistently without one (but not in the 2020 version).

Same here, when using an alternate it works fine.

Using simbrief flightplan GCXO GCFV none item of the EFB ground connections like External power, stair etc diidnt work … An the last was nothing is clickable.

i deleted the Wasm Directory and change the flightplan to GCLP GCFV and seems to work but no way to start in hotel mode or normal mode…

It is frustrating

Fantastic news, I did not have an alternate airport in any of my flight plans I never do. Entering an Alternate airport within my flight plan WORKED no WASM crash FANTASTIC!

everything is back to normal

workaround tag added and marked as the solution to point users to it.

Check that the parking brake or wheel chocks are set. If you own a Honeycomb Bravo or similar hardware, make sure that it’s not some switch that keeps the parking brake off. That is what controlls the availability of the ground functions on the aircraft page. I has absolutely nothing to do with your flightplan.
