Hi all,
Simple question: is there an easy way to remove a single object from a default airport - a way to take one thing out without redoing the entire airport from scratch?
The reason I ask:
KPWM in MSFS has two control towers. I love flying to KPWM, but the second control tower there just grates me every time. I would love a way to get rid of the second control tower, but I definitely do not have the expertise to redo the airport from scratch. Is there a simple way for me to get rid of control tower #2 - perhaps in AFCAD?
Thanks for any ideas,
Matthew Smith
@Medic6810 For default airports then maybe Airport Design Editor might achieve what you are after.
I have only started experimenting with this package, but it does a great job at importing default airport bgls.
I haven’t tried using it to remove any scenery as such as yet. It will require some knowledge about how projects and editing in MSFS works… so not recommended if you have no experience with such a task. However there is always the possibility to learn. It may, or may not, be what you are after.
(Note: there is also a hotfix for the download above)
This video shows how to delete a building. You will need to install the SDK, however, and may need video #1 of the series.
It’s a pretty easy process, though.
