I’ve got the Thrustmaster TCA Sidestick with reverse thrust function at the end of the thrust slider.
Normally I have to slide to the end, activate REV, and slide foreward to set the amount of reverse thust I want.
Unfortunately it didn’t work well for me, the button is a litte sketchy and often it don’t recognize the switch to REV correctly.
So I get more thrust instead of reverse by sliding foreward - very annoying.
Is it not possible to map a button for full REV while the button is pressed - without individual setting?
Would be so much easier for me.
Hi SaiienII, same to me. I fly with “Flight Yoke System” from logitech but still not able to set reverse thrust to the thrust slider. What kind of seetings you are locating to the revese button in FS?
Press and hold F2 to increase reverse thrust and F3 to reduce. Those commands are the ones to incrementally manage engine power. You can map both to your joystick with external sw if your joystick supports ranges.
If not you can also use something like Antimicro, which allows you to do so in ranges:
