They weren’t so bad down in Patagonia, either. This is leaving SAWE Rio Grande, Tierra del Fuego, Argentina, turning north for a 950-mile FSE VIP run up to SAZB. It paid v$25K but I’d have done it for less as the glorious sunrise was worth the trip.

Sometimes the live clouds are great and sometimes they are meh and I switch to custom presets.
Well, there are a couple things here. First is whether you’ve got any or even a partial connection to the Live Weather stream, which isn’t a given. That can have a huge impact on what you experience. Next, do you want to fly in ■■■■■■weather regardless so pick your place to fly based on that, or are you playing some side-hustle like FSE where your plane is where you last left it and you have the real weather there at the time you fliy? Real weather is good at a given location (“good” being VERY relative to specific location) at least as often as it is bad. So, if you’re playing in a persistent world (your plane is where you last left it), sometimes the weather is “meh”.
But OTOH, iff you’re doing such a side-hustle, good weather is good for business.
