Hi Guys,
Do we have access to texture folder in MSFS (like we have in x-plane)?
I would like to recheck the sky texture whether it is really clear and truly blue. On my screen I see some film grain / shimmering / pixelization when I look up to the blue skies in CAVOK conditions, of course you have to be very close to the monitor. It makes me crazy honestly, even old xplane has better visual quality for sky.
I just would like to be sure that this is post-processing or rendering issue and the sky texture itself is ok and produced in quality.
And yes, I tried to switch off all the film grain and sharpness settings in the CFG file but there is no impact on visual quality for sky at all. Also I am not talking about clouds, but the blue sky itself.
PS: do not look closely on night sky texture at all! This is the true pixaleted non-quality mess and the stars in MSFS are not true stars like in xplane (where each star is actually rendered and visualized separately). In MSFS each star is actually painted on an ugly low-res texture. Here is a huge room for improvement.
