ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: skyship 600 no cold and dark possible on mast vehicle since SU2!
The Skyship is a wonderful vehicle - I am very happy that an airship is finally included in the flight simulator, and I hope that it will be developed further.
After you have entered all the data in the EFB and selected the take-off site, the airship is loaded “ready to fly” on the mast vehicle.if you press the “ready to fly button” the mast vehicle detaches itself from the airship - the engines are running on the airship and you have to control it on the ground using the swiveling propeller position - you can fly it perfectly - the ballonets and air valves are all functional - as long as you have switched on the ballonet fans on the overhead panel - landing is very complicated, as in real life. ..but unfortunately you find the skyship at the beginning not firmly connected to the mast vehicle-it would be nice if this function would be there again like before SU2.Even after landing, it should be possible to reconnect the skyship to the mast vehicle with the push of a button.It would be nice if these features were available again with the mast vehicle and cold and dark - it would make skyship flying more realistic

thank you very much for the answer - i was very pleased that it actually works - but now the next problem - how do i detach the skyship from the mast? i have not found a command in the control system… can i reconnect the skyship to the mast after landing or will this function come later?

Do you mean you can start cold & dark once you click “ready to fly” ?, no more issue then ?

I have never used that airship so I don’t know how to detach it from the mast, I guess there is a functionality/switch/binding for that. Since you mentioned it was working prior SU2, how were you proceeding ?

before SU2 there were some joystick and keyboard bindings under the heading “lighter than air”, which among other things had a function to detach the skyship from the mast carriage-since the SU2 update there is a separate skyship joystick and keyboard binding, which no longer contains this function-at least I haven’t found it-but when you call up atc there is the possibility to detach the skyship from the mast-works great-but unfortunately after a landing you can no longer connect to the mast-would of course be great if there was this possibility after SU3

If that functionality is not implemented (did not exist prior SU2 right ?), I would recommend to create an enhancement request in the Official Microsoft Flight Simulator > Wishlist category.
