It’s winter in the Northern Hemisphere. Which means snow! Airport snowplows are (supposedly) reliable, but in in MSFS, I think they do their job a bit too well. A picture is worth a thousand words, so I’ll post two:
And
Is it just me, or does the first one look a tad overdone?
I get that the runways should be very-well cleared, but some snow should remain in the cracks on the runway and along the sides, with some tread marks from planes that already used the runway, like is shown in the second picture (ENTC by artogsta on Flightsim.to). Also, the snowplows don’t plow the EMAS (because if they tried they’d get stuck), yet in MSFS these are always cleared.
If the entire airport looked like the taxiways do, I’d be more than happy.
Is this a separate technique used by the great Norwegian freeware creator? So then why don’t MKStudios and other devs use this technique too? Or maybe its something Asobo need to address?
What’s more is, why hasn’t this gotten proper attention when we are now 6 winters into MSFS’ lifecycle?
Thoughts?
