Working fine for me. But it took a very long time and a lot of frustrstiin to set it up properly by my own preferencrs and then set it up for variois aircraft.
The controller setup (and the buggy aircraft selctuon menu) is the main reason why I only use 2 aircraft in 2024.
And both are 3rd party as the default aircraft take the frustration to a new level.
I have this issue as well. There is a bug opened on it. I owned a Store copy of Standard, and a Steam copy of Premium Deluxe. This is the issue. Control settings are stored on the Steam cloud or the Xbox cloud. This broke our initial setup. All we can do is wait.
This is one of the odd things among many others with MSFS 2024. All I use are Thrust Master products and they work great. After duplicating the default set up so I could go on and change everything I wanted too. I simply clicked the gear icon and set my new profile to “default” and “use on all aircraft” Since then zero issues. A tweak here or there… Save and make sure it’s set as above. How somethings work perfectly for some and not at all for others is so strange about this sim. Usually we all suffer from the same issue but not with 24. Since day one I downloaded the sim quickly, installed and started flying. I’ve had no issues except the well documented ones. I really think from the hours an hours of reading my honest opinion on why so many are having Issues. First, an Xbox is not a powerful enough system to properly run this sim… period. Second is connection speed, what you think you are getting from your ISP and what the sim is actually getting I think are two extremely different levels and your connection speed is paramount for this sim. Third I believe that many PC users (which I am) do not have the level of PC required to run this sim properly or they have a decent PC but want to run everything on Ultimate. I have had no issues with the sim besides the small bugs that are confirmed but I am running a powerhouse gaming PC with a fiber optic connection reaching average 1200mbps. The reasons I have come to these conclusions are from reading hours upon hours of complaints and the majority of them (not all) seem to be Xbox players (which I still think this is too much sim for Xbox) and issues that would make sense if you are not getting the download and upload speeds required.
In addition, I can no longer select the FS2020 bindings selection.
When I then tried to setup on FS2024 bindings, they will not save.
I have no idea what has changed but MS / Asobo really needs too sort this issue as a priority as I am so frustrated (and wasted a day) that I will use FS2020 for a month or so before I try again.
One of the main things that MS/Asobo built the FS2024 for was streaming (and other new functionality) that should vastly offload the XBox with its limited memory size and make it perform much better than FS2020.
Fact is till now that target got missed. By far.
