SOLVED: Boeing 747-8i after AAU2 returned to the before AAU2 version

Brief description of the issue:

After AAU2 released, I downloaded it and also the normal update (obviously). I then loaded into the 747-8i (the updated one) and everything worked flawlessly.

That is until I restarted the Sim the next day. Then it only loaded the 747 from before AAU2 in. AAU2 is still installed, the 787 works as it should. It’s only the 747 that has somehow gone to the before AAU2 version and I don’t know how to change that. There is no update available in the content manager… I tried deleting the entire aircraft, disable all mods (removed them physically). Upon restarting the Sim, it reinstalled the 747. Still, nothing has changed. Still the before AAU2 version.

Anyone got any idea what could be wrong?

Do you have the Salty Sim 747 mod installed?

Both.

I tried it wothout any mods at all, then it worked. Afterwards I reinstalled my mods, it worked (on the day of the update).
After I shut down my PC and wanted to fly the next evening, it didn’t work anymore.

I tried again without any mods (also without the Salty 747) and it didn’t work.

As of now, the Salty version works fine, the default (what should be updated with AAU2) version does not. For example the IRS switches are set to nav when I start up the plane (as it was before AAU2). The same goes for pretty much every other thing.

I don’t know where I can check on the build version of the 747-8i but my sim is updated to the latest build version.

Update: Fixed it. I haven’t removed the z-Newlight mod for the non AAU2 version completely because it snuck into some other file.

Still can’t explain why it didn’t work when I had all mods removed (Community Folder empty).

Anyways, works again :slight_smile:
