Brief description of the issue:
The Condition Lever Axis appears to be working correctly in the Controls Menu (axis responds) but in the cockpit, the lever does not change the graphic of the Condition Lever. As already stated from another user with similar issues. In the C208B the lever moves sometimes but completely wrong, it is also moving on it´s own to different positions without touching the physical lever on the Bravo Throttle. Although I have tried all possible configurations (axis reverse etc,). PC6 Lever in the Cockpit does not move at all!!
I double checked as well if key or axis bindings are double bound but thats not the case.
I tried in VR which is my preference and without VR, all the same lever not moving.
I also checked the Assistance menu and all set to “hard”!!

Hello,

thnx for your post. Now I’m sure that this problem was also in SU6 version with C208 because I discovered that after some time not play the sim. Only with mouse I needed set conditioner. I’ll try look to that.

They started making changes to the mixture axis control in the 208 after su6 was released. There was awhile it didnt work at all, (when previously I could set it to any mixture I wanted) to now in SU7 you have three settings full half and choke. The problem with that is that the line between half and choke is so fine that you end up stalling the engine and have to do an emergency restart and hope you dont hit the deck before the engine spools up. I fly real low so this is defiantly a bad thing for me ;p

I have one base install of the game, but run it from an old crusty machine thats currently running win 11 (never a fresh install since win 7) and the lever I use for it is a little twichey. But if I boot into my fresh clean win 10 install (still using the base sim files from the 11 install) it works alot better, as far as the twitchey issue.

So long story short yeah it works, but you only have 3 positions to choose from.

Thanks for the advise, I will try again let´s see how I can manage the Conditioner lever to work again!!

regards Harry!!

The C208 has a turboprop engine, there is no mixture as you may know it from a piston engine. The lever you’re seeing is a condition lever: Condition Lever | SKYbrary Aviation Safety

yes but it only seems to respond to mixture axis.

I have the Honeycomb Bravo but this should work for logitech as well. I mapped the high idle to the lever(any lever) being pushed full forward(axis +) the low idle to the lever being pulled back to the minimum at the detent (axis -) and the cutoff I mapped to the lever being pulled past the low detent(button control on the back end). This makes it function for the Caravan.

There are no mixture control in a C-208 and PC6, they are both turboprops.

I’m having the same problem with the Honeycomb Bravo Throttle mixture not working in the Beechcraft Baron G58. I was working fine before Sim 7 update

Problem SOLVED!!!
In my TM Rudder settings I had suddenly the Mixture setting bound which I had definetely not before the SU7.
Deleted it and now it´s working in the C208B!!! Still have to try with the PC6!

regards

I use Spad.next for the programming of my devices, there are WASM variables for condition lever in the sim but also they don’t seem to react with the lever in the PC-6. Spad.next also has this nice monitoring tool in which you can see what variables change when you click on a button in the cockpit with the mouse. I don’t see anything when I move the condition lever with the mouse. Same goes for the fuel shutoff valve. To me it feels that this plane has been released in an incomplete state.
