The G1000 no longer will take an ILS set up…totally different from yesterday. The flight doesn’t change…it’s very irritating. I just figured out how to fly IFR with AP, NAV, and Approach. It’s been working beautifully until today, Grrrrrrrrrrrr. The flight path doesn’t change when conficuring the Rwy I want. The waypoints aren’t showing up ( I feel like I’m losing my mind!) The Glide slope indicator changed…it won’t “grab” the heading…meaning staying on the flight path thats set. Any help appreciated
Unfortunately, this doesn’t seem clear. Are you activating the Approach? Are you enabling APR after passing the FACF but before the FAF? Are you at or below the altitude fix proscribed at the FAF in order to capture the Glide Slope?
If the waypoints aren’t appearing, it doesn’t seem like you’re activating the Approach, which would add the necessary waypoints (Transition, IAF, FACF, FAF). In addition, the NAV1 radio will be auto-tuned to the selected runway’s ILS frequency. You would need to double-check that using an Approach Plate or an EFB.
SOLVED for now LOL. Sorry about that Casual Click I knew that wasn’t going to come out very clear. What I decided to do was Delete the Garmin NXI…and now : things are back to normal. I am not following all of your abbreviations. Activating approach yes please read my first post… once I’m within the required horizontal and vertical. Yes I am at or below the altitude fix…like I said EVERYTHING (in an ILS AP NAV and Approach) was and has been “working” fine for more than a week but then there was a huge UPDATE Content Manager, on Planes, Airports, Scenery and the G1000NXI…so after the download…the Garmin “changed”. I slept on this and decided to delete the G1000NXI and now everything worked just great (Perhaps a coincidence). Thanks for trying to help me.

I tend to use too many abbreviations, will try to be more succinct the next time. Glad it’s back working for you.
