So, this is what I’m seeing now trying to load into the game. I do my normal flight planning from the world map, and I’m presented with this afterwards. I cick the “Fly” button, but this screen never actually disappears. Anyone have any solutions?
I’ve filed a Zendesk ticket, but I’m sure they’re going to instantly mark it as “solved” and it will disappear unaddressed like the last one I filed. So I’m turning to the community for help here in hopes someone has found a workaround for this.
I had this too, I think it may be somehow related to TrackIR changes mentioned in the latest patch notes. I use FaceTrackNoIR with TrackIR emulation - I restarted it, and then this bug went away.
I also found that going to the cockpit view from the Hangar showed a weird skybox-only rendering bug. Hope some of this helps in some way.
I have FacetrackNOIR, but I’m not actually using it. It’s not loaded or anything.
Trying to update my GeForce driver now. I’m not hopeful that has anything to do with it.

Yeah, GeForce driver update did nothing. Didn’t really expect it to though. 
I’ve had this problem also and also have Facetracknoir, MSFS probably loads the DLL when it initialises Trackir. No idea how I fixed the issue though, problem seems gone. You can try to run Facetrack and try again.
I just uninstalled FaceTrack and going to try again. I’m not overly optimistic though.
Have you ever used FaceTrackNoIR with MSFS2020 in the past? I wonder if some old calibration data is hanging around somewhere - if you’re still not having any luck, maybe try running the sim with FaceTrackNoIR running and active as well and see if that makes any difference.
I have exactly the same issue. As soon as i click the flynow button the view stays the same but in the background it sounds like its playing. I had the weird graphic thing too when i tried to change views. My game is broken now all i can do is change settings , make a flight plan but as soon as i click the ‘FLYNOW’ button it f**** up.
Ok, I uninstalled FacetrackNOIR and it SEEMS to be working now. I managed to get into a flight. We’ll see if I can get into another.

SAME HERE!! I thought I was alone, I have used FaceTrackNoIR, I will try uninstalling it
Uninstalling Facetrack solved it for me BUT the new photogrammetry and airports are not in game lol the rest of the content is there
Thank you @Cygnifick. That did it for me. I hadn’t been using Facetrack since I got a new HOTAS a couple of weeks ago (Saitek X56) since it has an analog stick for camera view. I guess the TrackIR driver was still being loaded even if the software wasn’t, and that’s what was causing the issue.

odd thing is, i completed one flight post patch succesfully… then quit, reloaded the game and was facing this issue
It was instantly problematic for me. So I thought perhaps if I started a flight in the air, it would work. And it did! The first time.
So I went back to the ground, that one worked too.
Then went back to the airport I actually wanted to fly out of, and the problem was back. Tried starting in the air again, and I got the same issue.
That’s when I started this thread. I would never have suspected that the TrackIR driver would be the issue.
What I’d like to know is, how the heck did someone figure this out so quickly? I owe you a beer!
hey man, the same thing happened here. What happened is that i installed this pacth from japan in another place that was not my place of installation of the game.
To resolve this, do the procedure shown below.
After restarting the game it will ask where you want to install the game. You choose the path that you had previously installed from the simulator.
It will look like he will reinstall the whole game but no, he will go straight through the update and arrive at the initial screen of the game.

Thanks! I had FaceTrackNoIR installed as well. I hadn’t run it in weeks but for some reason it affected the sim. Uninstalled and problem solved.
So the latest patch, according to the patch notes, fixes TrackIR problems - but also requires players to uninstall their head tracking software.
