Solved: How to start a flight at a certain altitude

In the World map I create a flight plan with the Robin aircraft with a departure airborne 1500ft, and a destination airport.
After I hit Fly the aircaft sits on 16000FT, and not 1500FT, like the departure field says.

The solution is to go into the Nav Log and change the cruise altitude.

I think it’s probably AGL but then I tested over the ocean and there was still a 500 foot discrepancy. A minor bug that I doubt is just in the beta so yes Asobo should look at it.

Did you have a destination set? If so the flight normally will start at the cruise altitude set in the Nav Log.

I had a destination set for an airport at sea level.
The tip from @Raynen worked! Thanks a lot!
So the Nav Log overwrites the setting from the destination.
No bug, but a sort of ‘hidden feature’.

This is actually good to know! Sometimes I would like to start at altitude: now I know what to do!
