[SOLVED] MSFS2024 IN CAREER MODE SAAB 340 can't control

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:

IN CAREER MODE SAAB 340 can’t control

i tried in free mode, it’s hard to control, but i still can control it.

but in career mode, saab 340 can’t control, if i move my TCA stick, the yoke in game did not move, and even can’t be clicked. all three main control directions are unable to work.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

every time, no matter my own saab 340 or NPC’s.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. jump into a mission using saab 340 in career mode, passager mission
  2. then game will auto start the engine, at this time, it already not working.
    3.then alt+N into the runway, i use nose wheel axis to control plane turn, this works
  3. can control power, but not be able to control 3 main wing faces

I have the same issue. Brakes, flaps, throttle etc all work fine using flightstick (this instance Logitech X3D), but XYZ axes do not work at all. Cannot even change direction in taxiing.

Not having this issue with any other plane (inc C172, C208, PC-12 among others).

solved, due to the gust lock, just a little forward of throttle, unlock it ,done.
but even i bought a SAAB 340 cargo, i do not have heavy cargo missions. also after i finished UPGRADE VIP missions, no this type mission come out

I have a cargo one too, I am going to try an airline one and see if that is worth $11m :sweat_smile:

Mission failed every time with about $100k in damage, don’t buy one for airlines yet

but in this beta stage, no heavy cargo mission, pity.
SAAB340 passager i guess is fit to middle cargo.

ohh, i think try emploee mode first is better, even the money is pretty too low. so we can comform it works or not.

Yup. That’s my plan and will probably not start a company until I have every one of my certificates, specialisations and enough money to buy an aircraft that will effectively fly the mission type that is doing it for me at that point in time, sometime early in 2026 probably. :wink:

The most money I am making is with a PC-12 in cargo mode. Almost $1m per mission if I keep my reputation up is the fastest I know how.

yes, middle cargo is now the answer to career mode. and i use 208B instead.
maybe in future, heavy cargo? that is why i add SAAB 340 cargo to my hanger, hahaha.

I tried the SAAB in passenger and it kept crashing just past the out door inspection and mission fail without me ever doing anything I tired multiple airports in north America then moved it for 500k to south America and had the same issue there so sold it as it cost me a fortune in the end.

did you use alt+N to jump taxi? if i use that, my plane will goes crazy

I tried both walk around and alt N but get the same result as soon as I’m in the cockpit the mission ends with a fail that I left the parking area I haven’t even started the plane after the walk around.

Looks like the SAAB has now been removed from career along with the Longitude jet. I still have the one I bought but see you cant buy them anymore.

Mine sows up as an unknow aircraft and nowhere in the buying tabs not for passenger or cargo:

Did you ever get a message saying congrats you can now fly this type with the saab when entering the map? Perhaps you got it before you are allowed to with the changes now
