I’d like to share the solution to a stuttering problem I experienced while playing Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 #mfs2024 on Shadow PC.
I had subscribed to the top-tier plan offered by Shadow, the Expert Advance configuration. I specifically chose this subscription to get the best performance for MFS2024. However, despite trying every possible optimization with the settings, I was constantly facing stuttering every 5-6 seconds. This happened during all phases of flight, with any aircraft or environment—it was consistent.
My internet connection is excellent, and I use a wired LAN connection. I contacted Shadow support, but aside from running some basic network tests, they couldn’t provide a solution.
After days of trying different fixes, I had a thought. I decided to downgrade my subscription to the Shadow Pro plan. Surprisingly, the stuttering completely disappeared! The game now runs smoothly with good settings and zero stuttering in every phase of flight.
I suspect, though I can’t confirm, that despite the Expert Advance configuration being more powerful on paper, it might use older components that don’t handle newer games as well.
I hope this information is helpful to anyone using Shadow PC. If you’re experiencing similar issues, it might be worth testing a lower-tier configuration.

Can you confirm that you mean the plan with 12GB of ram when you say it is working well with “Shadow Pro Plan” ? I was hesitating to subscribe because minimal specs for the game are 16GB ram, and I would use it only for MSFS2024
I was using Shadow Power and can confirm that it can be used to fly on VATSIM with Fenix and GSX addons. However, you can’t set all settings to ultra and you need to fund a balance. I was getting 25-30 FPS (2560х1440). Looks like it is Main Thread optimisation issue.
Another problem is that I was trying to use Lossless Scaling to achieve stable 60 FPS, but unfortunately there is something wrong with Shadow and I was unable tp see my mouse in-game after starting LS (Yes, I’ve tried mouse settings, it didn’t help)
Recently I decided to change my plan and subscribed to Shadow PC PRO - Expert machine
(for my 3D programs) and installed MSFS & MSFS2024 to test it. And guess what? The performance is worse than on Gaming plan. Now I get 15-20 fps on Fenix and CPU shutter every 3-5 seconds.
