[SOLVED]Trouble controlling zoom view

I use a virpl cm3 throttle as my collective on the Bell 206. I have successfully mapped an axis to the zoom view. However, there is not a correspondence of the axis to the zoom level. I turn the axis one way and it zooms all the way in. The only way to achieve a midlevel zoom view is to move the axis in one direction and quickly reverse-hoping it will end up where you want it.

In DCS the axis works quickly, smoothly and accurately so I know its not a controller issue. Rather I think its the way MSFS is interpreting the axis.

In options, there is a slider for zoom speed and momentum, that might work. It will apply settings globaly however.

i see the control option for zoom and when i push the sensitivity button there is no ‘momentum’ control. It is so annoying that that the zoom level continues to change after i have stopped moving the slider i assigned to it.

SOLVED: Zoom view is not like the zoom in dcs. To get simple changes, one has to use translate cockpit forward and backward buttons. There is no axis that corresponds to zoom in DCS.
